Description
This session invites school psychologists to reimagine their power and purpose by placing children at the center of the stories we tell and the decisions we make. Drawing on personal narrative and experiences from classrooms, refugee camps, and communities across the country, the talk examines how educational structures can both harm and heal, and how our unique mesosystem role as school psychologists positions us to advocate boldly for students and families. Participants will explore how to reclaim imagination, relationship‑building, and collective courage in an era of political polarization, technological distraction, and shifting educational landscapes.
