Small changes that make a big impact: Supporting multilingual learners' academic skills, Kirsten Newell

In this session, participants will learn abut monolingual bias, and how we can combat it in our every day practice as school psychologists. Participants (monolingual and multilingual alike!) will be provided feasible changes in data-based decision making and evaluation processes that more equitably support multilingual learners' bilingualism, biliteracy, and language development.
